History
Founded in 2014, by Bernadette Graves Rebuilding Communities is a vitally needed 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It all stated because the founded believes in the slogan “Everyone deserves to be served” regardless of income, socioeconomic status, living situation, race, religion, gender and sexual orientation. Rebuilding Communities attempts to moderate the negative impacts of apathy and lack of available services for the individuals of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and beyond. Our organization’s projects, implemented by a well-trained staff, will offer many opportunities for the reduction of depravity and poverty through needed intervention. Supporting the development of mind, body, and soul, Rebuilding Communities provides as many individuals as possible with a thorough foundation for future success.

Rebuilding Communities purpose is to strengthen communities by providing opportunities for under-served men and women to experience success in learning and success in life. The mission of Rebuilding Communities is to reduce poverty through needed intervention, cultivate leadership, and offer supportive environments by providing comprehensive services that empowers their potential of success.
